Oh yeah- I went to the beach yesterday.

Well the ones I managed to salvage. The others were completely choppy. I NEED A NEW CAMERA. Or try a new card. *sigh* This isn't fair. >->

Matt had a cooler with the words "Little Playmate" HAHAHA. I took a picture of it but unfortunately that picture blew up. T_T

also, we got kitties like 3 weeks ago or something. the black/white one is ritsuka (bigger of the two) and the smaller is soubi (spotted). hehehe. ritsuka loves to play with soubi. :D

The twenty-year old stood in the empty studio beside his easel, but was unable to paint. The painting class already emptied out hours ago, but he was left here alone with his thoughts for now. It seemed that no matter what he could do for the past couple of days, a thought that had become increasingly reoccurring was of that boy, Ritsuka. Soubi discarded his shirt for a moment, pausing to think a bit longer, and then stood in front of a posing mirror. He then started to unbandage his neck carefully. Sad eyes of aquamarine bore deep within his soul, quietly imploring a resounding, universal, "Why?"

Soubi lifted the brush, not facing the easel, and began to paint wistfully...

After a long stretch of moments staring at his reflection, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, Soubi finally left the studio to go wash off the tangible version of an undying desire that could never truly leave him.

I am over mah head with Loveless stuffs. Uuuu, my (re)new(ed) obsession for the time being.<3

I just got working on my mock up for his jacket and learned how to make ribbed cuffs all on my own. Well, fake ones. Mebbe. ANYHOO. u_u If anyone wants me to post the mock up (it's HOT PINK AND GREEN, LOL I feel like Shuichi), I'll do that. I'M SO PUMPED FOR OTAKON, AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I'm also going to start working on pwntendo's costume, too. I'll post some progress once I get enough done. ^_^

DREAM COME TRUE. Preregg'd today along with noetma for Otakon 2008! We're going to cosplay Loveless together, Friday and Sat. <38D Since I'm the shorter of the two, I'll be Ritsuka and Yukun will be mah Soubster. This will be interesting! >D

FINALLY. REAL CONTENT. For those who are uneducated about RI, WaterFire is one of the biggest events year round (it happens several times during specific months!) and basically it has been a pass time in our state since like, forever. It's a tradition I think established some time ago. o-o It represents the joining of opposite elements, etc.

Anyway, onto the pics! facklemuffin went with meeeee! 8D His sister and her fiancee wanted to go too... but... LOL it's better they didn't. Wanna know why? THERE WAS ALSO A GAY FEST GOING ON AT THE SAME TIME! OHHHHHHHHHHH YEAH!

So we got there early and hopped over to Providence Place where I bought a cute hoodie shirt at Deliah's (I'm wearing it in the photos, too), 50% off the original price, hehehe. I love hoodie shirts. *w*

So we were going to cross the road from P place to where Waterfire was (on the river), waiting for the light to turn...and all of a sudden we were hit by a

GAY.

I AM 100% SERIOUS.
No, not literally hit. They were driving by and OMG there was music and THEY WERE FUCKING GRINDING AND HUMPING EACH OTHER. There was like, a surfer dude in a speedo, a pizza man, and some other guys. OMG THAT WAS A HIGHLIGHT OF MAH NIGHT! I should have taken a picture but my camera was acting wonky. D:

So next we ran into an old high school friend of ours, Jenna Bugz! Yeah! Blast from the past! ^_^ Ha, we talked for a bit then parted ways. We spotted the site for Waterfire but it was too early so we were wandering around downtown Providence. o-o

We found out next that there were some gay events happening simultaneously --! WHAT.

PARDON MY PHOTOS, SOME OF THEM ARE WONKY. Either my camera is going or my card is. Lately when I take pictures they come out all discolored or some shit. D8 I think it's time for a new camera....uuu...

I was just testing out my camera~ this is MATT walking toward the skybridge and Francis street exit, out of P place. >-> See that STUPID LINE THING down the middle? That's what I'm talking about. D8 Dying camera is DYING!!!!!!!1111 I need to test this theory out by switching my SD cards.

He makes great faces. 8D The tree was some distance off from the cove/amphitheater part of Waterfire. ^_^

We encountered a tunnel with children art and stuff..and then found chronological maps of how the basin thing was built ("Water Place" on the map), where Waterfire takes place. It was actually just a huge river thing before so where we were STANDING was all water before. Isn't that cool? 8DDDDD

We saw this on the other side of the tunnel. Too bad that event was already over. GIANT RAAAINBOWS!

More gay shit! XDXD This was just one portion of the people at the concert that was happening. The stage was actually at the ice rink I believe. ^^ I liked it and there was so much GAY OMG the crowd sdjfhdsfhd but facklemuffin was angry about it. He was all, "it's TOO gay!" Awh, poor guy.

Some distance off we found a COWBOY STATUE, WHAT. XD I was all, MATT go pose between his legs >DDD and then Matt decided to touch his leg instead. Meh!

While walking down the corridors/rows/whatever to find a spot to watch Waterfire, we saw this candle thing. I thought it was pretty cool so I made Matt stand near it. Now only if my camera would stop acting so wonky the photo would have been nicer. ;_; Oh well.

There were shrooms involved.

So we finally found seats(well more like MADE seats) and sat down... and then! facklemuffin found this cool light up, glowy thing on the STAIRS! oOOooO! I swear it wasn't there before. Maybe someone turned it on? Anyway I made Matt take mah pic on it. 8DDD! SHINEHHHH!!

NOW, ONTO THE ACTUAL WATEFIRE!! 8D

WaterPlace is a restaurant... very close to Watefire. XD Duh. You can see tons of people here, waiting for it to start. And I'd say that was only about 1/40th of the stretch of Waterfire area...8D The event didn't start yet because it wasn't sunset. They light those bowls of wood-- SEE THEM?? Down there??? During Waterfire on the river people go by in boats light the wood / give gondola rides for couples, etc. 8D There was also some fire tricksters, too. One lady had these cool flame-controlling gloves- THE TIPS OF HER FINGERS WERE ON FIRE!!! She could swirl them around and do cool things OMG! 8D There was also a guy who had this nunchaku-type of thing with fire on it, swinging it around. Hee!

You can see the other side vaguely dotted with people. ^_^ The place was packed but that was to be expected because that's Providence for ya. o-o

I started playing Puchi Puchi Virus, IT'S SO FREAKIN' CUTE. And ADDICTING. UuuuUuUu! I want to make noetma cosplay the doctor there, hehehehe.

I have been in a slump lately until a couple days ago. I found what I was missing -- exercise! Might sound silly but once I cut that out for a couple weeks I felt so WEIRD. ;;; I guess exercise is my drug. Bah. Since I'm on that topic-- I also started Yoga classes two weeks ago. ^^ Today was my second class. I am SO proud of myself, I did my first headstand pose! WOO HOO!!!!!! xd Yoga's a cinch for me because I'm naturally flexibleeeeeeeeeeeeebendyyyyyy.

So, um, I haven't been able to sleep much lately. Like, srsly, been staying up past midnight, unable to fall asleep, blah. Urk. That, and I'm beyond tired... stressed, whatever. I just hope it all goes way soon. >-<

SO WA5! It's very, very good. I am just about going to Honeysday and I have to say I've fallen for yet another NPC. XD What is with me, liking the characters you can't play moar than the ones you do. Oh well. Persephone is one hot mama. ;w;!!!

Hi guys, it's 100 degrees out here. -_- Since I moved upstairs into another room (yeah I failed to mention this; I haven't been updating in ages o-o) - HEAT RISES - I'm dyingggg. We don't have AC anywhere in the house. Pfft. I'm hardcore so I don't need it. u-u WHAT I NEED IS A SWIMMING POOL. Or the beach. Yes. >-> Second one is more accessible since I live in the Ocean State. :P

My dad had knee surgery and basically I have been doing everything he needs to do AND MORE (he's single parent, here). So you can imagine all the shit that needs to be done. Sigh. He's feeling a bit better though. And me? I got two gray hairs and a sinus infection in return. I'M TOO YOUNG FOR THIS!

We got a dog (like we needed any more pets, jeez!). I really don't like where this is headed. My sister wanted a dog but she's never home to take care of it. She got it from a stupid pet store and that was a mistake. It has all sorts of things wrong with it. Blah. If I was her I would have never bought a puppy to begin with because it's just more responsibility (and I have enough on my plate as is!). So we need to get a kennel because the damn thing likes to chew up unknown objects... and get sicker. She should be watching her own pet...not us. Hrmph. /grouchy old man

Okay so since last afternoon there have been tornadoes in Virginia. ;-; I hope noetma is doing OK. I haven't heard from her since yesterday. I was in the middle of talking to her and suddenly the power dropped. o-o It was fine weather a moment ago, when I was talking to her, hrmph. So yeah, of course, she had little or no cell phone juice, so I haven't really been in touch with her. *cry*

My sister Tara, 24, came home. Again. The one that keeps moving out with a new guy, trying to get married (her wedding date was in August), then moving back in, in a fit of tears. Why is she so pathetic. I don't want her back in the house. Urgh. I can't go any further with talking about this because I'll be here forever. I don't want to even acknowledge her coming back, again. GROW UP ALREADDDDDDYYYYYYYYYYYY. x_x

Game-wise...ummm. I'm on the last case of Phoenix Wright Trials and Tribs (3). After this game I'm going to play Apollo Justice (finally). Mrpg.

I haven't worked much on cosplay...been feeling like crap lately. Sinus pressure and stuff. And you also have to take into account my usual pressures at work to get everything I need to get done in a 4 hour time frame, tee hee. Plus since I had ALL the responsibilities my dad had PLUS work every night, and no time for resting (literally), of course my immune system will get shot. Mrrr. I've been feeling better though, it's nothing big. Monday night I just had an unbelievable pressure, like someone squeezing my head from all sides. BLARGH.

Still don't know if I'll be going to Otakon this year. Sigh. This is due to crazy asian parents, not me, because if I had any say in it, things would be all set, booked and squared away. -_-

It's coooold. Damn cold out. *Shivers*

LATELY I've been watching medical dramus like House (crazy psycho old men are funny) and Grey's Anatomy (interns are stupidly funny) shutup. They're awesomely awesome. I also now am in posession of GA scrubs. >__>;;; ThankyouverymuchAlexander'sUniforms. LET ME TELL YOU THEY ARE THE MOST AMAZINGLY SOFT PAIR OF SCRUBS I EVER BOUGHT. MRRR!! Plus, they fit very well, and that's a shock- I always have trouble finding XS that actually fit- they're always so damn baggy! WHEE. New scrubs for work make Ashi happy. I love buying scrubs. ♥ Though I still am way too short for any pair of scrub pants to fit properly...so I need them hemmed at some point. Grr.

Why didn't I buy scrubs at a sooner point? Answer: Because I honestly didn't think I'd be able to keep the job for so long. ;;;;;;;;; It's weird. It's a very important job, handling specimen of patients, so I didn't know if I was cut out for it. When I first got the job they told me it was just for filling in a maternity leave so I was all "okay, it'll be just a couple months so I shouldn't get too adjusted." But hey, I have been getting compliments about my work. The supervisor is confident in me; he even started to talk about me staying here up until my very internship!!! WHOA. That's SO exciting!! >w< I even caught someone else's mistake for handling a cardiolipid spec (needed to be frozen NOT refrigerated) and he praised me on that, ha. And since the phlebotomist station is right next to my Send Outs station (there's a window between us where my VERYLOUDANDSCARY centrifuge is!), this one phleb named Melodie (she's freaking awesome, like a mother to me! :D) keeps praising me, too. She was all "wow, look at you, already working in Send Outs on your own! You're a fast learner," etc after two weeks of training. Mrrr. I feel happy at my job, like I'm someone, helping out everyone feels so great. At the end of the day I get a rush of giddy/happiness that I really can't place... I DUNNO MAYBE I'M A DORK. I LIKE MY JOB. End of story! //////

HM, WHAT ELSE. Oh HYEEEEE ASHI WHARZ THE COSPRAYU? I will gather cosplay materials during the week when I hang with facklemuffin. More about that later! 8D

Next week I'll reserve the hotel to visit noetma in July, for that protest in DC... never been to a protest. I'm sure it'll be ALL sorts of fun. ♥

Ah! APPARENTLY on the day of my last exams - my Bio101 exam - my "friend" Angelica (I met her my first semester in my old Bio105 class and we just clicked, talking about science together and I made her realize her love for Bio thus she changed to double major in Italian AND Bio at the end of the 1st semester) came up to me spouting how she wants to now major in CLS. I was SO excited to hear this, omg, you wouldn't even believe it! I would NOT shut up, even when the exam papers were being passed out, ah, I'm so excited!!! I felt like I "converted" someone with all my crazy ranting from my job and my classes, hehehe. Now it looks like we'll be taking more classes together (Well not Chemistry, she's already one semester ahead of me there;;;)!! I FINALLY GET A CLS BUDDY, WHOO! Er, I hope. I am slightly less alone now (?). Mrph. And I don't feel even the slightest bit nervous about competition. >->;;; FUNNY (and sad) THING IS, Ashi does not hang out with her URI "friends," not out of class, nope. Maybe it'll change next year? Maybe??? ;;; I just use the time on campus to study my brains out!;;;; I have no life, I assure you. It's 50% Yumee, 50% CLS. Lulz. T_T

Hmmm what else to talk about here? Ah, since Christmas I had mp3 player woes. I just recently got a Sansa 2 gig and it's marvelous. Of course it's a refurb and I got it for only $30 but it was worth it. I'm so happy to have a regular mp3 player again. AHHH. REJOICE!

SO UM. UMMM. YEAH. Pray I don't get any more cerebrospinal fluid specimen today at work. They are a) scary b) take forever to order and process and c) Dr. Martinez's way of torturing us laboratorians for the oddest, most out-of-blue testing. T_T Gahhh. Seriously, last time I barely had enough CC's. @__@;;; Guhh. I spent an HOUR trying to finish up handling it, too. An hour of OVERtime. *Sigh* Oh well. CSF isn't common so it's not like I handle it every day....hm. /whine.

Oh yeah as for MY oral surgery recovery - everything is fine - except for the gaping hole in my gums. I can see inside my gums. I can SEE INSIDE my GUMS. WHAT?? I hope this is some normal procedure for healing??? No? Oh crap. So I made an appointment with my surgeon to go look at it because I frankly don't think it's supposed to be healing while OPEN. The stitches fell out prematurely, is my guess.

OK I guess that's it for now. :D

FINISHED MY LAST EXAM TODAY. THE SEMESTER'S OVER. YAYAYAYAY. PARTAYYY TIEM! I just got done adding up my total score on it, and then I totaled my overall score in my Bio class.

If an A: 218-240 point range...and...

I got a 263.

Then: I feel great. So great. At least I got the A I wanted, huzzah. :B

My other classes I have no idea. Hoping for all A's. The only one I'm worried about is CS because that is also a 4 credit class, ick. I DON'T WANT A B. *WHINE* Grades go up sometime after May 15th. I HATE WAITING. GRRR. /obnoxious

Well, now I have time to relax and eat my vegetable kimchee rice medley and watch House. u_u Oh, and finish reading Time Traveler's Wife, which is a really good book. o-o

I conquered that stupid program that was taking me forever on the weekend. FINALLY. Take THAT, computer science class!

*insert evil laugh here*

So I'm "taking a break," figuratively. I now have this left on mah plate, then I'm done with my Freshmen year, WHEW! Today is the last day that classes meet. HOORAH!

Here's the run down (listen up, noetma):

-Finish website section of Final Project for CS class (sometime before this week is over, lulz)

Thursday: -Meet with partner for said class
-Drop off portfolio final to my Writing professor same day

Friday: -Drop car off at mechanic in the EARLY morning
-......Friday is also my surgey AAAHHHH T_T I'll have the weekend to recoop

NEXT WEEK...

Monday: I just make final adjustments for my CS project then submit it! 8D

Tuesday: my Communications final

Friday: my Bio final

AND THEN I'M DOOOOOOONE!

So what's next? AH.

WORK'S BEEN GOOD. I just started doing Send Outs last week; Send Outs is basically transferring specimen to other labs that are able to run the tests (ex: Specialty, Mayo, etc). This is my second week doing it.

I basically handle specimen to a higher level, doing pour offs (tube to tube WEARING GLOVES mind you), labeling, batch sheet printing, signing documents, making copies of papers, and making sure everything is accounted for. BASICALLY I run around like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to find where specimen went. LOL.

Let me TELL you: It's a lot of detective work, it's very difficult at times, but I'm glad I'm learning what's what because it's very helpful to be submerged in lab science. SCREW GETTING MY FEET WET, I JUST CANNONBALL'D. LULZ. 8D Right now I'm still trying to grasp what needs to be spun down and what doesn't...and the types of tubes matter whether you can pour off or use a pipette. Boo.

So yes life is... interesting.... to say the least. o-o I'm glad school is almost out. I'M DEAD TIRED OF IT. I WANT ME TIME. *flails*

I've been busy and... well... hey it's life. o-o I believe I won't be posting a lot unless it's the summer or something, tee hee.

So yeah I'm on antibioticis - Doxycycline - for Lyme. Ugh. All I have is to finish the bottle. IT SUCKS though because the medicine can make me throw up/have digestive problems/etc. I also can't take my multivitamin... D8

My apicoectomy is gonna be either on the 18th of 25th... I'm calling tomorrow to schedule it. T_T SPEAKING of teeth - my wisdom teeth are coming in and my whole bottom jaw hurts like HELL. At first I thought I was getting a cavity but after checking all my teeth, it's actually a tooth that isn't even really above the surface causing this. I can't have my widsom teeth come in - I don't have any room!!! D8 BLAH. So if they come in quickly I have to pay OUT OF POCKET for them to be removed because my apicoectomy is draining all my dental coverage. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I've been watching animu lately. YEAH. I NEVER HAVE THE TIME. WHAT'S GOING ON. Maybe I'm being lazy for once, hehhee. Anyway I finished Yami to boushi to hon no tabibito, it was hella confusing. XD I also finished a series I started AGES ago, Kannaduki no miko. Hahah... yes, yuri theme. >-> Anyway now I'm (hopefully) going to watch Fate/Stay Night per noetma's request...ha. But I don't know how busy I'm going to be next week! I HAVE SOOOO MANY FINAL PROJECTS COMIMG UP! BLAH.

So thusfar, optimistically, the only class I'll be (maybe) getting a B+ in is Comp Science, ugh, and it's so easy too (WTF)! But I estimate my GPA will be 3.6 ...again. UGH. I WANT A 4.0 *screams* Those homework assignments though make me want to pull my hair out- they take points off for ANYTHING and half the time it's for "creativity" - you shouldn't be grading on that. This shit takes up SO much of my time to begin with! *grumbles* The last annoying thing is that the PROFESSOR DOESN'T EVEN GRADE THE ASSIGNMENTS! Some idiot TA does (an idiot I have to correct in class, too; she doesn't even know proper HTML, betch, don't try teaching if you don't even know)!

ANYWAYS.
